If you've updated, our server isn't up to date yet. We're waiting on an official version of bukkit 1.2 as well as the plug-ins to update.

No I mean I can't login at all. Doesn't take my password, I did the "forgot password?" but I'm not getting any email so not sure what I'm doing wrong
I even paid for Minecraft and it doesn't work.

Sounds like you may want to personally email them and see what's up.

You hit don't update when you login. If you don't have the patch that our servers on you may be stuck waiting though.
